Agents Legacy Group, LLC helps Medicare beneficiaries select a health plan that is accepted by their existing hospital and doctors, thus assuring continuity of care and preserving the trusted relationships many providers have built up over time with their patients. Agents will also make sure your current Prescription Drug coverage is the “RightFit” for your budget. Not captive, owned or managed by any one particular Medicare insurance company, Agents Legacy Group, LLC’s mission is to provide seniors the unbiased information they need while simplifying the whole enrollment process.
In addition to providing assistance throughout the plan application and enrollment process, RightFitPlans.com agents can provide an annual review of an enrollee’s Medicare coverage during Medicare’s annual election period. This often includes assisting clients affected by Medicare plan network changes that frequently occur on an annual basis. Doing so assures that beneficiaries have the information they need to proactively select a plan that best meets their individual specific needs, preferences, and budget, the “RightFit” while retaining continuity of care with their trusted health providers.
People with Medicare insurance benefits often ask what the best plan is. It's hard for anyone to know what the best is without a crystal ball or without seeing into the future. So, we present them with the available insurance options and choices in a way that gives them the opportunity to identify the Medicare Plan that is the “RightFit” for them. “RightFit” is our term meaning assisting our clients with identifying and enrolling in the insurance contract that has the appropriate benefits, terms, and conditions for their unique needs at a cost they can accept. Just like with shoes, not everyone wears the same size, so the “RightFit” for one person may not fit the next.
We also have a Right Fit Medicare Store located in Bedford, Texas for Medicare-eligible shoppers to come by and chat or visit us online: http://RightFitPlans.com.com.
Medicare Supplements are standardized by the Federal Government. They are labeled A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, and N. Each standardized Medigap policy must offer the same basic benefits no matter which insurance company sells it. Cost is usually the only difference between Medigap policies with the same letter sold by different insurance companies. Plan A pays the Medicare hospital and physician coinsurance, the first three pints of blood, and 365 days of hospitalization beyond Medicare. Plans B through N provide these benefits and add more benefits such as coverage for Medicare deductibles, excess charges and limited preventive care, and foreign travel. You can only have one Med Sup plan. No one should try to sell you an additional Medsup plan unless you decide you need to switch policies.
You can get your Medicare benefits through Original Medicare, or you can choose a Medicare Advantage Plan. With Original Medicare, the government pays for your Medicare benefits when you get them. Medicare Advantage Plans, the Part C of Medicare are offered by private companies that have been approved by Medicare. Medicare pays these companies to administer your Medicare benefits. If you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, the plan will provide all of your Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) coverage. They are completely different than a Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy.
Part D Prescription Drug Coverage is coverage for retail prescription drugs, or the medications that you pick up at a pharmacy. This is a voluntary program which allows you to access medications at an affordable rate, and insures yourself against any prescriptions you may need future.
Teachers are public servants who typically devote years or decades of service and unparalleled commitment to the process of educating a new generation. Texas retired teachers receive benefits through the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), and Texas teachers’ health care benefits are administered through TRS-Care.
TRS-Care is a network-oriented health benefits program. If you use health providers who are part of the TRS-Care statewide and national network, the plan generally reimburses you for 80% of eligible expenses after your annual deductible is met. For current Medicare recipients, TRS-Care deductibles are fairly high depending on the plan. For Spouses, they range even higher.
The question comes up, “Should someone with TRS as his primary medical insurance even bother to enroll in Medicare”? The answer is a resounding YES. When a retiree reaches 65, TRS assumes that the retiree has Medicare and pays accordingly. So, for example, if you go to the hospital or to a doctor TRS will assume that Medicare is paying 80 percent of your expenses and TRS will pay the other 20 percent minus the deductible. If you do not have Medicare to pay the remaining balance you will be responsible for it.
With changes being made to the TRS Care budget, retired teachers in Texas are estimated to face large rate increases on their coverage, possibly doubling or tripling their current premiums, deductibles, and co-pays for health care in 2018.
